• Ana Maria Lucaciu – Danced with the Royal Danish Ballet, Augsburg Ballet, The Portuguese Contemporary Dance Company and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet in New York. She collaborates and performs with a wide range of artists, companies and freelancers as a dancer and choreographer.
• Jeff Eggers – Served in the White House for six years, most recently as President Obama’s Special Assistant for National Security Affairs. He retired from the Navy after a 20 year career as a U.S. Navy SEAL and currently leads research on organizational performance and leadership and explores the behavioural science of policy decision-making.
• Alex Cotet – Creator of entertaining ads, believer in good & smart humor and high-quality online content. As a self-taught professional, Alex doesn’t care much about “best practices” and “watch outs”, constantly pushing the boundaries of what an advertising campaign can say and show.
• Annastiina Hintsa – Knows how to offset high performance, holistic well-being and happiness. After working in top management consulting and experiencing burnout, she was faced with profound questions of balance and meaning.
• Florica Zaharia – After running The Department of Textile Conservation at MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York) for almost 3 decades, Florica Zaharia returned to Hunedoara to open the first textiles museum in Romania.
• Christophe Debard – A bionics expert who decided to embrace a disability and change the way people see it. As an amputee since 13 years old, Christophe wanted his prosthetic leg to become more than a “tool” and viewed it as an opportunity to display his differences proudly.
• Mariana Popescu – An architect with a strong interest in innovative ways of approaching the fabrication process and use of materials. Her research focuses on the development of KnitCrete, a novel, material-saving, labour-reducing, cost-effective formwork system for casting of doubly curved geometries in concrete.
• Taraf de Caliu – Since 1991, their music conquered Western Europe in tours and performances on almost all continents. Their talent and roots have evolved with culturally diverse influences from Tokyo, Singapore, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Istanbul or London. In 2002 the group received the BBC World Music Award in Europe and Middle East, under the name Taraf de Haidouks.
