A friend of the community and former speaker, Gregory is the perfect 2-day host of our 11 years anniversary event.

Gregory’s specialization is the brain. He’s the former Director of the Institute of Neurocognitivism in Brussels (Belgium). In 2014 he founds the Brain Academy which specializes in writing and producing high-quality brain-related content. Through his online courses, he has taught over 200.000 students worldwide how their brain works, and how it impacts their behavior.

The Brain Academy has a partnership with The Economist (UK), PWC (Lux) and is a member of the Max Planck Institute of Brain Research (Germany). It has also been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine (US).

What is TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

Our event is called TEDxBucharest, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBucharest event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
